Our Approach

Consultation First

Every piece of work begins with consultation. We take time to understand the child, the context, and the specific questions being asked before recommending next steps. This ensures that any assessment or advice is purposeful, proportionate, and appropriate.

Joint working

We work collaboratively with parents, carers, and where appropriate, schools. Information is triangulated across multiple sources to build a balanced and evidence-based understanding — no single voice is relied upon in isolation.

Digital Tools

We use carefully selected digital tools to support remote assessment and consultation. These are used thoughtfully and in line with best practice to ensure reliability, validity, and accessibility — not as shortcuts. This includes preparation, structured delivery, and clear consideration of limitations and safeguards.

Professionalism

All work is carried out within a compliant professional framework, aligned with relevant ethical standards, regulatory expectations, and best practice guidance. This ensures confidence for families, schools, and other professionals. Consent is obtained, confidentiality is respected, and information is handled securely in line with professional and data protection standards.
