After the Assessment
-
Most assessments take place over more than one session. Following the final assessment session, please allow up to 10 days for your written report to be completed.
-
Yes. All assessment packages include a feedback meeting at no additional cost. During this meeting, the psychologist will explain the main findings, discuss the recommendations and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
-
Where possible, your feedback meeting will be arranged following the first assessment session, so you will know in advance when to expect your feedback and report.
-
Your account must be settled in full before the feedback meeting and release of the written report.
-
The written report will be sent directly to the parent(s)/carer(s) who commissioned the assessment. Ignite Psychology will not routinely distribute the report to your child’s school or other professionals. You can then share the report with your child’s school or other professionals as you consider appropriate.
-
Yes. In some circumstances, reports can be expedited for an additional urgency fee. This must be discussed and agreed with your psychologist during the consultation stage.
-
Ordinarily, reports are provided following the feedback meeting. This allows the psychologist to explain the findings and recommendations, and gives you an opportunity to ask questions before receiving the final written report.
-
Your final report will be provided electronically as a PDF document and sent directly to you.
-
Anyone relevant to the assessment may attend the feedback meeting with the parent’s agreement. This is often just the parent(s)/carer(s), although the young person or a relevant member of school staff may also attend where appropriate.
One feedback meeting is included within the assessment fee. If separate or additional feedback meetings are required for different parties, these can be arranged for an additional fee.
